how did you get here?

what can you do here?

how did you get here:

you logged on as a DJ and choose to be in an "OFF AIR" mode on the "verify ON or OFF AIR" page.  or you just linked here from another help page...

what can you do here:

you can click on the links on the page to do the following:

  • edit station music calendar - DJs can update and edit the station music calendar, which is a calendar view of all the events recommended by station DJs.  the updated calendar can then be viewed by everyone on the station's detail page.

  • manage your past playlists - DJs can update their own past playlists, which can then be viewed by everyone (depending on whether the playlist is private or public) on the station's detail page.  this is useful when you don't have enough time to enter all the playlist details while you are ON AIR, then you can update it with more detail later on.

  • manage your DJ and show info - DJs can update their own DJ information, such as their DJ name, a URL to their own outside webpage (if any), and a description of themselves.  DJs can also update information on shows that they are assigned to.

  • view what's currently under development - DJs can see what new functionality, issues, and bugs are being worked on and see their completion dates.  reported bugs and requests for new functionality can appear on this list as new things being worked on.

  • generate/view station top charts - DJs can automatically generate and view their station's top X bands played  this can then be narrowed to a given period and/or for a given DJ.

  • band maintenance requests - DJs can request the deletion of bands, correction of mis-spellings, and re-assignment of favorits (if some listeners added "FALL" and others added "FALL, THE" to their favorits collection then when a DJ requests that the "FALL, THE" is the correct spelling, listeners' favorits of "FALL" need to be assigned to "FALL, THE" so that works for all.

  • view new station applications' status - under development; DJs will be able to see new station applications to the system and the results of the voting.  admitting new stations to the system will be decided by a majority vote of all the participating stations.
