| how did you get here: | ||
| you must be a registered listener and you clicked on the "view calendar of favorits" link on the "listener" page. | ||
| what can you do here: | ||
|
WARNING: no event entered by any listener will ever show up on any station music calendar, UNLESS a DJ from that station chooses that event to be on that station's calendar! stations do not have favorits lists...
NOTE: if you enter crap or bs events, it will likely show up only on your own calendar. however if you enter an event of a valid band others "dig" as well, then they will know about the event if it is in their current metro area. (people can change their metro area by clicking on the "change your password/metro area" link on the listener page...)
NOTE: events are universal. anyone can see them if they care about the band of the event. when you are adding an event, you might be also creating a new band in the system. this is a lot of flexibility for the average user. later on in the future we might find that certain individuals are screwing with the system and entering false bands and events. if this becomes a serious issue, we might need to change the system to only allow station DJs to enter new bands and events directly into the system. hopefully this will not be the case and grapefruitmusic can serve as a true community for those with more refined taste...

| click on the links to find out more detail about events. if you are adding an event, you will be taken through the process of adding a calendar event - this will take you through many steps, but it should be fairly quick and friendly, especially if you have gone through this a couple of times. | ||
